NINETY OVER NINETY is a family project comprised of a father/daughter/son team. Having missed out on capturing many of the stories in our own family, we hope to tell the stories of others. For us, Ninety Over Ninety is a labor of love in genealogy, biography, and film production. Led by our father, Rob Sumner, we have combined our skills to bring this project to fruition. Growing up in the Sumner household was less like a crystal vase and more like a basketball; so, if through no other venue, the basketball court is where we learned to work as a team.
Jack Sumner
Recording, filming, editing, Jack volunteers his technical expertise to the Ninety Over Ninety project. He also offers his studio for recording our guest interviews. Jack’s regular gig is President of Sumner Social, LLC a marketing and sales company in Gastonia, North Carolina

Everyone has a story to tell and Ninety Over Ninety offers a free opportunity to record personal stories for nonagenarians and centenarians. Rob is a retired attorney and Superior Court Judge who enjoys listening to our guest talk about their past and offer advice for the future. “Folks over ninety have seen it all, several times, and are eager to share their experiences.”
Mary Stephenson
Excited about bridging generational gaps, Mary helps to brand and market Ninety Over Ninety’s online presence. Mary lives and works in the United Arab Emirates as an artist, wife, mother. She loves hearing the wisdom that older generations are share on this platform.
